There are generally 2 types, standard and deluxe portable toilets with varying options.
For example, some standard portable toilets come with a tissue and hand sanitizing dispenser with a handwashing station, some don’t.
Most deluxe units are what you might think as a fully, functional (portable) bathroom, complete with sink, amenities, and running water, some even have hot water.
Tip: avoid the cheapest option, go a step above it. Do not sacrifice comfort.

Response Time
When it comes to the comfort of your guests, the last thing you want to experience is complications with your rental unit and your rental service taking hours to get it fixed. You want fast (under 30 minutes) to fix or move a unit.
Equipment Management
Aside from you having multiple service options from standard porta potties to deluxe units, handicap units, pump-out service, baby stations, on-site staff, and handwashing stations. To avoid misconceptions about porta-potties, each unit must have the following:
- You want the unit to have adequate lighting during the day and/or nighttime. People don’t feel comfortable if they can’t see it.
- Aside from standard bathroom needs, you may have guests with disabilities or babies. Installing a baby station will avoid frustrations.
