Choosing the right unit
A Ridgestone rental usually starts with one question: is this a jobsite or a gathering? For a build, a Standard Porta Potty is the workhorse, dropped near the framing so trades stay off the finished house. Stretch that into a months-long custom job with rotating crews and the Deluxe Flushing model, with its sink and foot pump, holds up better day to day.
When the reason is a party rather than a project, the Luxury Restroom Trailer is the north-side favorite, climate-controlled with proper stalls and mirrors for guests who would rather not step outdoors. Pair it with an ADA Accessible unit for anyone who needs the wider entry, and a Handwashing Station whenever a caterer is set up on the lawn.
Where a unit sits on the lot
The lots up here roll with the terrain, so we scout for a level pad before delivery. A graded driveway apron or a firm side yard beats a soft, sloping backyard the service truck cannot safely reach. Point the door in toward the work zone and away from the road, and leave the pump side clear so the route crew can service without moving the unit. On raw acreage we ask about the caliche drive and any low limbs the truck has to clear.
Season and heat on the far north side
Spring and early summer bring the busy run of graduations and backyard celebrations across the north subdivisions, and the trailers book up fastest on those weekends, so it pays to lock a date once you have one. A next-business-day drop is usually easy the rest of the year.
Heat is the constant here. When the afternoons sit above a hundred for a stretch, we service more often to keep a unit fresh, and on a long build we add pumps to the schedule so nothing lags through the hottest weeks.
